5 Sketches - Lady Spirit

To reiterate what I said previously: I do not know what a sketch is.

~erin-hime’s Lady Spirit, the primary antagonist of her story Elemental Spirits. I decided to draw a character that did not get much love and the villains seemed like as good a choice as any. I’d drawn Lady Spirit before, in her previous design, but I liked her new design and decided it was time for a redraw.

The pose was referenced from an Edwardian photo of actress Ruth Vincent and I think it kind of works. There are some things I’m iffy about, but all in all, I rather like it. Spirit may not have come off as menacing as I’d intended, but she still looks nice, I’d say.
