My half of an art trade with ~erin-hime; these are her characters Charlotte Hutchinson North and Ryan Hutchinson. They were twin sisters until Charlotte was turned into a vampire and adopted by the North clan.

Behold the horrible, horrible background. (I'm wincing, believe me). I didn't really know what to do with it, and for some reason I just can't seem to muster the energy to put up a decent background, so you get this bland thing that looks more like a guest bedroom than a teenage girl's.

That aside, I like how the two girls actually turned out. Charlotte's sort of staring off into space, rather than at Ryan's badly-drawn hair, but they're nice. I like both of them, though I think I'm preferential to how Charlotte turned out. She looks pale and creepy in a bad sort of way, but that works. She is a vampire, after all. They're not usually noted for their healthy appearance. :P

(Yeah, this picture was giving me no end of trouble, for some reason.)

I feel bad to be giving ~erin-hime a picture that I slacked on in parts, but I was determined to finish this before March. I didn't want to keep her waiting too long. So, even though I might not be terribly happy with it, I hope you at least find something to like about it, Erin.

Bah, it’s not that bad. I mean, sure, there are a few things off about it, like the fact that Charlotte seems to be glaring at the wall, but everything else is perfectly fine. I can reason through most of it. See clearly, Ryan’s staying with the North’s, but of course she has to stay in the guest room, and Charlotte snuck in the do her hair, because, well, just look at it. So boring. As for the so-called badly drawn hair, it’s not really. My hair sometimes looks like that, limp and boring, but then I brush it, and it comes back to life. Clearly, that’s what’s going on here. ;P

Otherwise, let’s see. I really like how they’re sort of in matching outfits, but not quite. I like how Ryan turned out (although, truthfully, if you ever get the urge to draw her frontward again, I sort of see her with a thinner face. Just FYI), and how she looks like she’s laughing a bit. Maybe that’s why she’s glaring at the wall? Who knows?

Er, I’m not sure what to say about this, other than it’s actually rather nice (to me) and thank you so very, very much!

I'm glad you, at least, like it. ^^; I'm glad you can reason through it too. Does this mean there's going to be a scene where Ryan actually does stay in the North's guest bedroom? :P And hee, I'm sure Charlotte never had that problem with her hair. Ryan must envy her skills at making limp, boring hair into something nice.

The matching outfit thing was sort of an unexpected fluke, but I'm glad you like it. I can try and fix the face (and Charlotte eyes, agh those did not turn out).

But still, even though I had trouble with it, I'm still happy you like it. You're very, very welcome. ;)
