Happy birthday, ~erin-hime!

Ha, I wish I could have given you a better present for your birthday, since my original idea didn't pan out, but hopefully you still like this one. >.O It's more fitting for the upcoming story anyway, so it works out, kinda. >.>

I decided to try something with one color, kind of like this picture, since ~erin-hime seemed to think it neat. Of course, the joke's on me -- red never scans very well (it scans really poorly on my giant scanner, so I had to borrow my dad's printer-scanner) so in order to modify this so it was actually visible, rather than a clump of reddish-pink, I did have to desaturate it. Ah, the joys of traditional media. I haven't had to worry about that for a while.

I like how the pose and concept came out, but poor Psyche's head looks so big. >.O Haha, I do have to feel a little bit sorry for poor Eros. Yeah, he might have some red mixed into him, but the poor guy can't escape the pink no matter where he goes. I guess if it's for Psyche, he'll cope with it, but he won't like it. Bad enough he has a girly bow and arrow, and now this!

The background's not the best, but I figured a computer background was quicker than my attempt to actually color in one. >.O The focal point is the happy, pink-clad, couple in the centre, so it all works out.
